The Challenge - BEE Events were selected to provide a complete event management solution, working alongside the client’s in-house team. The aim was to create a special environment for their employees by arranging a black-tie dinner dance incorporating an awards ceremony to celebrate excellence and success throughout the year.

Our Solution - The Royal Armouries in Leeds was selected as the venue. It was decided that a medieval winter wonderland theme, incorporating the purple from the client’s corporate branding, tied in nicely with the season and the venue.

Our team took care of everything; creative design, sourcing the perfect venue, project management, theming, lighting, entertainment, pre-event activities for the finalists, drinks reception and the main event. We also managed all the health and safety.
The finalists arrived one hour before the rest of the guests; Knights in Shining Armour greeted them on the red carpet. They were treated to an exclusive VIP drinks reception with the Executive Team in the Hall of Steel while being entertained by a juggling jester and a special private presentation.

The main guests were provided with their bespoke drinks’ wristbands and shown to the War Gallery where the main drinks reception was taking place. Entertainment was provided by strolling minstrels and their traditional medieval instruments. After the fanfare sounded for dinner, the guests started a procession as they followed the minstrels downstairs to the main room.

Guests entered a winter wonderland where a medieval re-enactment took place on the dance floor before the sumptuous three-course dinner. The snowball table centres complimented the rest of the decor and provided height throughout the room. With the help of the venue, we even created four bespoke cocktails, coloured and named after the client’s values.
A bespoke stage was created to host the awards, providing maximum visibility for the large crowd and we worked with our specialist production team to produce a themed finalists’ video. The awards were followed by entertainment from a DJ and 6 piece live band which kept everyone dancing until the early hours.

The whole event was also being professionally photographed to provide them with footage to share in-house forming part of their employee engagement and employer proposition plans. Photo opportunities were also provided in each corner of the room with a themed Photo Booth and Wooden Medieval Stocks.

The Results - BEE Events delivered an on-budget event that wowed guests and exceeded the client’s expectations.

Our Solution - The Principal Hotel in York was selected as the venue for the finalists’ pre-event, and The National Railway Museum Great Hall located across the road was selected for the main event.

A Great Gatsby theme was selected to complement the venue and the colours black and gold were chosen to run throughout the whole event to create the 1920’s look and feel.

We worked closely with the venue to ensure every last detail was taken care of, from the feather and pearl centrepieces through to managing all the health and safety.

The main guests were provided with their bespoke drinks’ wristbands as they arrived on the red carpet and shown to the Great Hall where the main drinks reception was taking place. A 1920’s themed band provided entertainment. After the call for dinner, the guests were shown to their table to dine amongst the trains.

Guests were taken back to the 1920s by an amazing showgirl who provided hula hoop, feather fan and themed dance routines during dinner.

The Challenge - BEE Events were selected to work alongside the client’s in-house team to create a spectacular event for their employees, family and friends. We were given the task of arranging a Family Fun Day for 2,000 people incorporating a range of fun activities that would appeal to all ages.

Our Solution - Wetherby Racecourse was selected as the venue with a wide range of activities made available to appeal to all ages, including a wet weather contingency.

BEE Events ensured that the client’s brand flowed throughout the whole event. We worked closely with the venue and our client to ensure that every last detail was taken care of including security, car parking and health and safety.

Wristbands with food and drink vouchers were provided upon arrival with entertainment provided by giant Minions.
A wide range of festival style catering vans were on offer including gourmet burgers, pizzas, fish and chips, doughnuts and candy floss. Popular fairground rides such as the waltzers surrounded the Big Wheel together with giant inflatables, pony and land train rides and crazy golf.

Picnic areas and giant lawn games were also on offer along with a teen fun zone and adult only zone including clay pigeon shooting and archery competitions. Beauty treatments, massages and hair styling were a popular choice and available indoors along with a Photo Booth and themed props.

A bespoke snapchat filter was created especially for the event which heightened the excitement and enabled everyone to share the event on social media as it unfolded. A competition was also launched for the best photo from the day.
The Results - The client received excellent feedback from employees who felt truly appreciated and grateful for their free family day out.

Guests took to social media which had a direct impact on recruitment with candidates mentioning the event at interview.

The client reported a buzz in the office for many weeks following the event and attributed increased attendance at their subsequent Awards Ball to the success of this event.
The Challenge - BEE Events were selected to create a unique annual conference for the client’s senior management team. The event was spread across three days in a central city location in Europe and was to incorporate a range of fun activities together with a structured conference. The event was designed to engage the management team to deliver the strategic execution plan.
Our Solution - Barcelona was selected as the city and Casa Fusta as the Hotel with its opulent feel, spectacular roof terrace and perfect location.

BEE Events worked closely with the venue and our client to ensure that every detail was taken care of. We also managed all travel, health and safety, and excursions.
All guests were welcomed to the conference with a personalised postcard and gift from the CEO placed in each of their bedrooms on arrival.

Over the three-day event, the senior management team were treated to a drink’s reception on the rooftop terrace of their hotel, private exclusive dinner in the hills, guided tour in an open top VIP bus taking in the sights including La Sagrada Familia, tour of Camp Nou Stadium and a Pacha Ibiza party at CDLC Lounge.

The Results - The Senior Management Team were made to feel valued, and left the conference feeling highly engaged with the company and strategy.
The Challenge - BEE Events were selected to create a BEEspoke dream wedding in the York area from the ceremony and venue booking right through to the creative design, theming and entertainment.
Our Solution - A rural chic lavender themed barn at The Normans in Bilbrough was selected as the venue due to its proximity to the bride and grooms’ home.

BEE Events worked closely with the bride, groom and their family to ensure that every last detail was taken care of. Various handmade and personal touches were suggested and weaved into the day.

These included a photo wall of fame, funky sharing platters and street food, rustic plant pot table plan, wooden pallet order of the day, chalkboard and wooden signs, wicker baskets filled with flip flops by the dancefloor, white, green and lavender fresh, dried and homegrown floral arrangements, customised sweet and drinks station, kids pottery class, games area, digital caricaturist, Photo Booth, DJ, acoustic duo and full band.
We also took care of the beauty treatments before the big day, personal chauffeurs and even arranged for their Hungarian Vizsla puppy to be included in the wedding photographs.

The Results - The happy couple were delighted. We managed to exceed their expectations in creating their dream wedding day by suggesting and implementing unique ideas that were beyond their imagination and wowed their guests.

We removed their stress which allowed them to focus on enjoying the planning process and the day itself.
